Upcoming event: Good Relatives Series

Announcing the Good Relatives Series in North Carolina! This is a hybrid zoom/in-person series that will begin in September and continue throughout the fall.

Hilary Giovale will be leading this series based on her book, Becoming A Good Relative: Calling White Settlers toward Truth, Healing, and Repair. (See a review of her book below.) The focus of this series will be on healing, BIPOC land rights, and reparations, rather than the colonial patterns of taking & exploiting.

I’m truly honored to be invited to help organize this event with Hilary, Lucas Brown, and Kasey Kinsella who I’ve gotten to know through 7 Directions of Service.

All income will be returned to @7directionsofservice, @indigenous.memories, and BIPOC speakers.
